Original title: Sjön under sjön English title: Inverted world
"Unobjectionable and sustainable extraction of metals, including uranium from alum shale has never been proven possible anywhere in the world." The Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences
There are concerns about the potential consequences of alum shale mining in Oviken with its proximity to the lake Storsjön, an important water source for the surrounding municipalities. The risks of spreading pollution via the river Indalsälven towards Sundsvall city are alarming. Inverted world (Sjön under sjön) is a cinematic and musical piece, in unison with a poem by the writer Emma Warg, on the theme.
